The data supply conversion went reasonably well.  The first notable mistake was not accounting for empty records sets ( Commercial and Land were empty to start ).

Second thing noticed ( thanks Andrew Mara! ) was street name.  A quick scan of the data found 406 listings without a street name.  A secondary scan of the mapped fields found the fault.  Then, a quick re-import and process with the correct field mapping and the street names were back.

Unfortunately the street name issue was not caught until several SideCar notifications went out.

Keep tuned for more updates as the day and work progresses.

Some strange characters are showing up in the remarks.  We are looking into it right now [ thanks Paula Brown ].

The strange character issue is not completely resolved.  We're getting close to nailing down why quotes and double quotes are creating these strange characters to appear in the remarks field.

SideCar Advantage was made fully functional yesterday afternoon.  We've only just made SideCar [ the elder version ] functional with the new data.  There was considerably more work involved making the older version compatible.

No problems are anticipated but please keep us posted if something looks wrong.

The Agent and Office tables were the last on our list to cut over.

Ambiance had a field 'name' which contained 'Surname, First Name'.  Matrix does not have this field.  So, we've altered our scripts to concatenate and now we have the same.

This will begin to appear in the data and SideCar and SCA notifications very soon.

Thanks to all those who pointed this out.

I've just come across a very rarely used field 'board_code'.  This only affects the Agent and Office information.

In a nutshell:  Ambiance had VREB as board ID 0; Matrix has VREB as board ID 332.

The appropriate adjustments have been made.

Matrix uses these two terms for the status of a listing:  Removed and Canceled

Removed is our ( X ).
Canceled is our ( W ).  ( Formerly known as Withdrawn. )

Never having had a Removed before a new state of a listing had to be accommodated.  What the difference is between them has not been explained to me.  This revision 'should' populate through the personal tables as each feature page or administration main page is loaded.

Please advise if this is not the case.
